We had a wonderful conversation as an Order regarding the shape of the gathered church, leadership, priesthood, lay ministry, and the like. Some great perspectives were shared, as well as great ideas given.
What can we do as an Order? What are some first steps?

I think it was Br Guy who mentioned the ability for the Order to step up and do a Dominican Seminary. That and your comment Br Kevin about needing to be available in various media formats. Already we are seeing some rather good organic growth, so we will need of course to continue this (I like the goal of at least one Dominican in each diocese).
People way smarter than I will have good ideas I am sure.
I'm going to bug everyone about the idea of a newsletter and/or video series.
bugging is the way to go, we really need to have a newsletter...we just need an editor, and then a basic format, start simple, go from there..
perhaps here is an outline:
From the Master
Around the Order
- brief updates about transitions related to folks, or preaching engagements, etc.
Heresy of the Month/Quarter
- addressing something common in most of our churches
Devotional Thought Related to the Church Year

Maybe at Chapter we can get some more ideas. I'm not good at writing, but can help in other ways.
